Ojelabi said “as APC we’re not surprised at victory, because we have diligently worked for the party and you’ll agree with me that Asiwaju himself, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, did a perfect job by making sure that he traveled to all the 36 States including Abuja to canvas for vote, telling the people, his desires on what he’s going to do when he become the president of Nigeria “.

The State Chairman said “This is a journey he started a very long time ago,  his integrity has contributed to the victory we are all witnessing today, as a person he is tested, he has networks across the 36 states across the country and that have played a lot” .

Going forward, integrity of any candidate matters a lot, his integrity has given APC the edge in the last election and coupled with the tribunal panel has dealt with one after the other. I think we are quite satisfied with the judgement today” Ojelabi affirmed.

Other notable party chieftains at event were the party’s Southwest Organizing Secretary, Mr Lateef Ibirogba, a former Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government Council, Comrade Ayodele Adewale who is the current State Organizing Secretary of the party and the LGA Chairmen were led by their Chair of Chairs, Mayegun Dally Adeokun of Ikeja Local Government Council.
