“I’m a Very Stubborn Politician, I Refuse to Go, I’ll go for second term” – Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared his intention to seek a second term in office, insisting that rising insecurity in parts of the country will not compel him to relinquish power the President made the remarks while receiving the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, alongside other stakeholders from the state.

Tinubu said attempts to weaponise the country’s security challenges against his administration amount to playing into the hands of his political adversaries politics you are playing to the hand of agents, including my own enemies, who want to use insecurity to get rid of me,” Tinubu said.

“I’m a very stubborn politician. I just refuse to go. And I will campaign for my second term,” he said.

His remarks come amid ongoing concerns over insecurity in several parts of the country, which has continued to dominate national discourse and political debate.
