The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Tokunbo Abiru has commiserated with the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa over the death of his father.
Sen Abiru in a condolence message issued by his Media Office sent to Lagos Panorama said “I join eminent personalities in Lagos, particularly distinguished members of the prestigious Governance Advisory Council, GAC, in condoling the Honourable Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, on the passing of his father, Pa (Alhaji) Sulaimon Atanda Obasa”.
“This is indeed a trying period for the Obasa family. I share in their grief, while urging them to take solace in the fact that their Late Patriarch lived a life worthy of emulation and survived by successful children, whom among is our amiable Rt Honourable Speaker”.
“I pray that Almighty Allah grants Late Alhaji Sulaimon Atanda Obasa Aljannah firdous, and gives the family, the children of the deceased the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss”.
