… VOB empowers 100 women with cash grants to boost their business after COVID-19

To cushion the effect of Covid-19 on businesses owned by women across Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, the Executive Chairman, Dr. Valentine Buraimoh has presented cash support to 100 women to support their businesses on Thursday.

The Wife of the Chairman, Mrs. Opeyemi Buraimoh, who facilitated the gesture by the Mayor, said, the administration is committed to the economic sustainability of the citizens, so the cash support is to help improve the businesses of beneficiaries.

While speaking to press, Madam Caro, one of the beneficiary from Ward J said, “this gesture for me is an answer to a prayer I made to God few days back for some cash to be injected into my soft drink business. This is our peak sales period. I want to thank the chairman and his wife for this laudable people driven Initiative”.
