Onigbongbo Legislative Arm visits Odi-Olowo/ Ojuwoye LCDA to condole with them over the passing of Ward C Councilor

In a demonstration of solidarity and sympathy, the Legislative Arm of Onigbongbo LCDA called on the Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Seyi Jankande, and the Legislative Chamber to commiserate the loss of late Hon. Shotayo Zainab Adeshewa.

In a demonstration of solidarity and sympathy, the Legislative Arm of Onigbongbo LCDA called on the Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Seyi Jankande, and the Legislative Chamber to commiserate the loss of late Hon. Shotayo Zainab Adeshewa.

The visit was to pay respects to the bereaved family, friends, and political associates of the late Councilor.

Hon. Zainab Shotayo, a devoted politician and honorable colleague whose contributions have left a lasting impact.

During the visit, the leader of the house, Hon. Francis Nkwo, expressed deep condolences over the passing of Hon. Zainab, describing her as “a selfless leader and a voice for her people.”

“We received with profound shock and sadness the news of the passing of our Honourable colleague, Shotayo. She was a dedicated progressive who served the party with remarkable zeal, integrity, and loyalty”. Said Hon. Khadijah Dosunmu, the Deputy Leader.

“The Legislative Arm extends its condolences to the Executive Chairman, the Legislative Arm, the entire Council, and the bereaved family; may Allah forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant her Aljanat Firdaus”.

Other Honorable Members present include Hon. David O. Orukpe, Majority Leader, Hon. Folu Omotesho, Chief Whip, Hon. Lekan Ige, Deputy Majority Leader, and Hon. Alabi Yusuf, Deputy Chief Whip.
