Nigeria records 155 new COVID-19 cases, total now 59,738

Nigeria’s confirmed cases of coronavirus reached 59,738 on Wednesday night following 155 fresh infections, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said in an update.

Lagos recorded 84 of the 155 cases, followed by Rivers with 31, and Kaduna with 12.

The rest are: “Osun – 10, FCT – 7, Oyo – 6, Ogun – 3, Kwara – 2”

The total confirmed cases so far in Nigeria now stands at 59,738 of which 51,403 have been discharged.

However, the infection has claimed 1,113 lives.
