As we say goodbye to 2021 and happily welcome 2022,I rejoice with all the good people of Oriade LCDA for witnessing the beginning of the new year and pray to God to make it a prosperous year for all of us.
Considering the numerous challenges, Covid-19 pandemic,most especially, that we experienced as a nation in 2021,let us give God the glory, for his mercies, kindness and love in our lives.
Indeed,we have every reason to be grateful to God, because, despite the challenges of last year,we,as your elected representatives in Oriade LCDA, were able to make positive impacts in your life, through various people oriented projects and programmes.
We were able to touch your life positively in 2021, because you gave us the mandate to serve you, through your votes during the last local government election.We cannot thank you enough for having faith in us.You also supported us with your prayers and payment of your rates and levies.
Let me assure you that,we are more than ready to make 2022 a better and prosperous year for you all,in all aspects of life, such as, Health, Environment, Education, Agriculture, Social Infrastructure,Youth and Women Development, and Poverty Alleviation.
However,in order to ensure that all our plans and agenda come to fruition in the new year,we will need your continued support and prayers.
As citizens, you are expected to perform your civic responsibility by paying your taxes,levies and rates promptly and also be law abiding.
I have the belief that, collectively as a people,we can right all the wrongs of the past year,in this new year, and for this reason,I want to charge all Nigerians to key into the promises of God in this new year, by shunning all social vices, like drug and human trafficking, kidnapping,bandtry, insurgency, armed robbery,rape, ritual killing, corruption and wilful destruction of public properties.
On our part,in Oriade LCDA,we will continue to make the welfare of the people a top priority of our administration, and in doing this,we will take a cue from Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration’s THEMES AGENDA.
