LASG Trains State Counsels on Efficient Service Delivery

Speaking at the commencement of the training held at the Adeyemi-Bero Auditorium, Secretariat, Alausa, the Honourable Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General, Mr. Moyosore Onigbanjo (SAN), said the programme was geared towards ensuring effective and efficient service delivery in the administration of justice in the State.

Onigbanjo, represented by the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Ms.Titilayo Shitta-Bey, appreciated the Institute of Paralegal Services for the laudable initiative, stating that the training would broaden the knowledge of the State Counsels as well as enhance their productivity.

He, however, charged the State Counsels to make efficient use of the knowledge acquired from the training as it will help in the effective, efficient and quick dispensation of justice as outlined in the T.H.E.M.E.S development agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

Facilitators such as Rtd Hon. Justice Olusola Williams, Mr. Ope Olugasa and Mrs. Oredeji Delano presented papers on Digital Age Legal Terminology; Enhancing Justice Delivery with Digitalisation in Law Practice; as well as Moral and Ethical Character.
