The Lagos State U-15 (male and female) Football teams have been assembled at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, in preparation for the forthcoming National Youth Games.
Camp of the Lagos Football team like others are intensifying preparations as the young footballers for the U-15 Championships.
Last month, the Lagos State Football Association rounded off its screening exercise and 53 players were selected (28 Boys and 25 Girls), at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Arena, Onikan, Lagos.
It has been the tradition of the LSFA with the support of the Lagos State Sports Commission LSSC, to get the players ready and put them in good shape as a formidable team.
Every team that represent Lagos at the Games usually proved their weight among their foes and this year’s campaign will be another success story for the Eko boys and girls.
They have the likes of Osun, Oyo, Ekiti, Ogun, and Ondo states to contend with at the qualifying series before picking ticket to the Games proper in Delta State.
Zonal Eliminations of Ball Games will commence on the 16th-18th of August, 2023, at the Ilaji Sports and resort Center, Akanran, Ibadan, Oyo State.
