The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mrs. Sarah Adebisi Sosan, on the occasion of her 70th birthday, describing her as a distinguished leader whose public service record remains exemplary.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by the party’s spokesman, Mogaji (Hon.) Seye Oladejo, the APC lauded Mrs. Sosan’s contributions to governance and party development, noting that her tenure as Deputy Governor between 2007 and 2011 was marked by dedication, integrity and steadfast commitment to progressive ideals.
The party highlighted her impactful role in advancing education and community development during her time in office, adding that her leadership style reflected discipline, humility and a deep sense of service to the people.
Describing her as a seasoned educationist and grassroots mobiliser, the APC commended Mrs. Sosan for her sustained efforts in empowering women, mentoring emerging leaders and strengthening party structures across the state.
“At 70, Her Excellency remains a symbol of resilience, principled leadership and unwavering loyalty to the progressive cause,” the statement read.
The party expressed gratitude for her continued guidance and support, praying for many more years of good health and fulfilment.
Mrs. Sosan served as Deputy Governor of Lagos State from 2007 to 2011.
