COVID-19: NCDC confirms 365 new cases, Lagos recorded 209 and 8 deaths

Till date, 199151 cases have been confirmed, 186418 cases have been discharged and 2598 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 365 new cases are reported from 8 states- Lagos (209), Ondo (88), FCT (31), Rivers (16), Ebonyi (11), Kaduna (6), Ekiti (3) and Plateau (1).

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities.

2025 Hajj: Lagos Extends Payment Of Fare To February 10

The Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (LSMPWB) has extended the deadline for payment of 2025 Hajj from January 31 to February 10, 2025 in line with the directive of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). The extension was made public by the Board Secretary, Mr. Saheed Onipede, in a release issued by the Board on Wednesday.
