The Chairman of Alimosho Local Government Area (LGA), Lagos State, Mr. Akinpelu Johnson, has urged council staff to embrace discipline, dedication and professionalism as the new year unfolds.
Mr. Johnson made the call on Tuesday while addressing workers at the council’s multi-purpose hall, noting that the previous year came with its fair share of challenges and achievements.
According to him, the progress recorded in 2025 was made possible by the resilience, commitment and dedication of the council’s workforce, whom he described as the engine room of governance and a critical factor in effective service delivery.
“We commend the staff for their sacrifices and loyalty to duty. Looking ahead, 2026 presents renewed opportunities for us to do more and do better. We therefore charge our workforce to be more disciplined and dedicated to their official responsibilities,” the chairman said.
