Maiyegun Dally Adeokun, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Ikeja Chapter, led the party’s Campaign LOC in rallying support for Chairmanship candidate Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda, AKOD, and Vice Chairmanship candidate Hon Abisola Omisore, OMITUNTUN, in Ward E area of the state capital, where he officially presented Hon Babatunde Folami as the Ward’s Councillorship candidate for next Saturday’s Lagos Local Government Election.

Ward E comprises areas such as Seriki-Aro, Awolowo way, Ajao road, Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Agbede/Allen junction, Aromire Avenue, and Oloti village.
The fifth APC Ikeja Ward rally got underway with Hon Dauda meeting with youths and other stakeholders of the Ward, at which he unveiled his IKEJA Agenda to a supportive audience, drawing the largest attendance since the Ward rally began, a hallmark characteristic of the Ward acknowledged for securing the highest votes for the progressive party.

AKOD assured the numerous youths of an entrepreneurship scheme designed to ensure their gainful employment and financial independence.

The rally began in the Seriki-Aro area, with the Deputy Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, participating in the event.

A special visit was paid to Adefemi Hospital to pay homage to the late Dr. Adesola Taiwo, after which the rally train stormed every other major street in the Ward.
Chief Funso Ologunde subsequently hosted the APC Ikeja LOC team to a lavish reception following a five-hour carnival-like rally at his residence.
