Chairperson urges party members to shun disputes
The All Progressive Congress (APC) Onigbongbo ward C, Wasimi on Friday had its grassroot engagement/walk through campaign rally for all the candidates of the party in Ikeja Federal Constituency.
The rally aimed at sensitizing and canvassing the people on the need to come out and vote massively for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, Dr Idiat Adebule, Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke, Hon Seyi Lawal and Hon Adedamola Richard Kasumu, during forthcoming general elections.
The rally which was declared open by Honorable Prince Seyi Lawal took off from back of BRT Ikorodu Road, via Jesu Oyingbo, Maryland and terminated at Wasimi Village, where it had in attendance Party leaders, loyalists, Stakeholders and members from Ikeja local government, Ojodu and Onigbongbo LCDAs.
In her wellcome address the Onigbongbo LCDA Chairperson Alhaja Iyabo Akerele expressed her gratitude and appreciation for all the members for turning up for the campaign rally.
She subsequently encouraged them to shun any form of violence and settle their differences amicably for the sake of the Party and the coming elections, she emphasized.
The Chairman APC Ikeja LGA Alhaji Dally Adeokun, in his own address also emphasized on the same issue of settling disputes and differences among the ward members for the sake of the election and Party in general.
Alhaji Adeokun also called on everyone to ensure that they all get their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs), and also make sure each one of them mobilize at least 19 others making 20 to go and vote on the day of the election, so as to be able to achieve at least nothing less than 200,000 thousand votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Ikeja Federal Constituency, being his Political based, he concluded.
Ikeja Ward C, Onilekere is next to host the train on Monday.
