The Executive Chairman, Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh attended the Environmental Health Education Programme in company of the Vice Chairman, Hon. Segun Idris to express their satisfaction with the community Health sensitization exercise championed by Beatrix Sagoe and Adorn Life Pharmacy.
The event was designed to have two segments, firstly a novelty match and a free diagnostic health care services for residents of the 22 road community.
While addressing the community, the Council chairman said, “Todays events are integral to conscientize residents on imbibing a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise and periodic medical checkups while protecting our environment.
The advocacy must not end today, it is a continuous exercise, if we want to maintain a healthy community. The Mayor also submitted that is administration is committed to providing qualitative primary healthcare services across its Primary Health Centers.
The exercise had in attendance over 500 residents.
