Residents of Ikeja Federal Constituency have praised and commended the Member House of Representatives for the constituency, Rt. Hon James Abiodun Faleke for the regular medical outreach and economic empowerment for his constituents.
Beneficiaries of the recent healthcare outreach facilitated by the Chairman House Committee on Finance at the Ajasa street, Seriki-Aro, Ikeja on Friday couldn’t hold-back their emotions as they all burst into praise songs and prayers for the amiable top-rank federal lawmaker for his continuous supports all through the year.
Recall Lagos Panorama report in September that RT Hon Faleke facilitated the second edition of the annual Faleke’s Integrated Medical Outreach partnering with Doctors on the Move Africa, where over three-thousand patients across the 18 wards of the Ikeja Federal Constituency, were treated for various ailments ranging from fibroid, hernia, appendicitis, blood pressure, pregnancy complications, prostate and a host of eye complications, with over 350 major surgeries.
At the 4-day Medical Outreach in Ajasa on Friday the final day, the leader of the healthcare team, Dr. Yinka Osho in a chat with Lagos Panorama stated that the ongoing medical outreach started at Morgan street on Tuesday to Wednesday, where over five-hundred patients were attended to as they were treated across various medical conditions.
Dr Osho further said the medical team arrived Ajasa on Thursday morning and concluding on Friday.
He noted that over 400 residents of Ajasa and environs were attended on Thursday and several hundreds were being attended to on Friday as at the time of the interview.
Over 300 hundred recommended glasses were distributed after the optometrists examination and diagnoses of the patient’s eye and those with dental related matter were also attended to by dentists who treated with healing, polishing and other dental cleaning process. Tooth with decayed root that required to be extracted were also extracted in a simple and painless manner by the dentists.
The Chairman Seriki-Aro Community Development Association, CDA, Mr Tijani Rasheed on behalf of the community expressed sincere appreciation to Rt. Hon Faleke for his continuous provision of the medical outreach and empowerment programs where over 10,000 residents of Ikeja Federal Constituency have benefited this year alone.
The erstwhile Leader Ikeja Legislative Council Hon Adetoro Adebowale also corroborated the CDA chairman in expressing gratitude to Rt Hon Faleke for his topnotch representation at the National Assembly and also creating time for the welfare of his constituents.
The Assistant Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ikeja, Mrs. Jumoke Ogunyemi also thanked the Ikeja High-Chief for his numerous support for women and the elders.
Ogunyemi advised that other political office holder should emulate the good deeds of Rt Hon James Faleke’s welfare support to the people
she was later joined by women and elders who couldn’t hold-back their emotions and joy started praise songs and prayers for the Secretary of the defunct APC/ Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.
