The social analyst analytically criticised the Federal Government’s decision on the removal of petrol subsidy, corroborated the reaction of Labour leaders on the remark of the Senate President’s that President Muhammadu Buhari who is also the Minister for Petroleum is not aware of the Federal Government (FG) plan to remove the petrol subsidy, despite the GMD NNPC and minister of finance both had confirmed the FG plan to remove subsidy. Only for the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, on Wednesday, said the President Buhari was not aware of the subsidy removal. this premised the Nigeria Labour Congress question, “are these senior government officials acting on his behalf or outside his directive? Would they have the right to do something without his knowledge, is that possible, on the petrol subsidy”.

He criticised the monopolistic trade of essential commodities such as sugar and cement by Dagonte and a few other individual.

On the 2023 Presidency, Liborous stated the kind of leader Nigerians should vote for in the 2023 Presidential elections and a host of other salient national issues.
