The Onigbongbo All Progressives Congress (APC), led by Chairperson Alhaja Iyabode Akerele and Campaign DG Hon. Sulaimon Onifitila, officially kicked off its Ward A campaign on July 25, 2025, with a well-attended event that included a visit to the palace of Oba Onigbongbo, Hrm Oba Adeyemi Olusegun Ajasa, and showcased the party’s unity and confidence.
The APC Onigbongbo LCDA Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, accompanied by his Vice, Hon. Shamsideen Oloyede Akerele, the councilorship candidate of Ward A, Hon. Lekan Ige, and other councilorship candidates, were formally presented to the residents of Ward A in Onigbongbo LCDA, as part of the forthcoming local government elections.
With the official campaign kickoff in Ward A, the party is positioned for a successful outing, demonstrating unity and focus on the local government election, scheduled for 12th July 2025.
Party leaders, campaign committee members, community leaders, women’s groups, market men and women, CDC/CDA, artisans, party stakeholders, loyalists, members, and supporters of Onigbongbo LCDA APC were in attendance at the campaign rally.
