Valentine Buraimoh partners NOSAK Distilleries Limited to construct NOSAK road in Amuwo Odofin LG

The Executive Chairman, Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that roads across the Local Government is motorable. To this end, his administration opened up a Private Public Partnership (PPP) with NOSAK Distilleries Limited to construct NOSAK road, linking Oba Akinyemi road and Babangida road in Amuwo-Odofin Industrial Estate.

Engineer Buraimoh  who was on a working inspection visit, was received by Nosak Managing Director, Mr. Osaro Omogiade, GMD, Mr. Thomas Oloriegbe and GED, Mr. Osagie Osunbor and taken on a tour of the road under construction.

The Amuwo Odofin LG helmsman commended the Management of Nosak Distilleries for their disposition in partnering with the local government in ensuring the sustainable development project is achieved and stated that it will serve as a reference project to other corporate institutions to emulate.

‘The Mayor’ as he is fondly called by political followership, asserted that “ensuring all roads within Amuwo Odofin Local Government are motorable is one of my administration priority to key into the state Governor’s THEMES Agenda”.

“I am also are urging other corporate organizations to emulate Nosak Distilleries corporate social responsibility in partnering with the local government in achieving sustainable development in our community. This administration promotes public private partnership in achieving infrastructural development for betterment of our people as Government cannot do it alone” the amiable Council boss opined.

When completed the link road will help to ease the traffic lock-jam always experienced around the Industrial estate axis and boost the economic activities of the area in the Amuwo Odofin Local Government.
