Flamingos head coach, Bankole Olowookere has summoned 25 players to camp for his team’s 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Burkina Faso.

Flamingos head coach, Bankole Olowookere has summoned 25 players to camp for his team’s 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Burkina Faso.

The Nigerian girls will travel to Burkina Faso for the first leg on May 11, while the reverse fixture will hold at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The winner of the two-legged contest will take one of Africa’s three slots to the World Cup which will be hosted by the Dominican Republic.

Some of the invited players include: Nwachukwu Prisca, Adebayo Jumai, Adegoke Khadija, Ibrahim Ayoade, Olowookere Oluwatoyin, Azeez Rokibat, Okezie Onyedikachi.

Also invited are: Afolabi Taiwo, Aderemi Mary, Moshood Shakira, Isiaka Ololade, Abdulwahab Farida, Joseph Queen among others.

The 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup will run from October 16 to November 3, 2024.

The Flamingos finished third at the last edition of the competition.
