Four more bodies have been recovered from the rubbles of the collapsed seven-storey building at Oba Oniru Street, Lekki, Lagos

Bringing the total fatalities so far to six, it was reported that six persons were in the building when it collapsed early hours of Sunday

The update was communicated to Lagos Panorama by the Permanent Secretary Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA)

Update on Collapsed Building at Oba Oniru Street beside Ave Maria Hospital, Lagos.

14.23hrs 5th September 2022

The Agency alongside other first responders has been working for over 24 hours at the above 7-storey building which collapsed yesterday.

Another four bodies have been extricated from the rubble bringing the fatalities to six.

The painstaking process is ongoing.
