Tutor-General Embarks on Familiarisation tour of schools in Education District IV

The Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary of Education District IV, Mr. Olusegun Osinaike, alongside other management staff, has embarked on a familiarisation cum WAEC examination monitoring tour to schools within the District.

The Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary of Education District IV, Mr. Olusegun Osinaike, alongside other management staff, has embarked on a familiarisation cum WAEC examination monitoring tour to schools within the District.

Speaking during the visit, Osinaike wished the students success in the ongoing West African Examinations Council (WAEC), imploring them to remain focused and determined in order to attain great heights in their chosen profession in life.

He advised them to shun all forms of malpractices and misconduct, encouraging them to put in their best in the examinations to achieve success and justify the huge resources being expended in the education sector by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

The TG/PS also enjoined the teachers to work assiduously towards making a big impact on their students’ performance in academic and other areas of endeavour.

Osinaike also assessed the state of infrastructure in all the public schools visited including Itolo Senior Girls High School, State Senior High (Special), Birrel Avenue Senior High School, Wesley Girls Senior Secondary School, and Herbert Macauley Senior High School.

Other Schools visited are Eric Moore Senior Secondary School, Araromi Senior High School, Sari Iganmu Senior Secondary School; Iganmu Senior High School, Ijeshatedo Senior Secondary School and Sanya Senior Grammar School.
