Liverpool winger, Mohamed Salah, could become the best-paid footballer in the world if he decides to join Al-Ittihad this summer.

The Saudi Arabian club has offered Salah a three-year contract worth a staggering £65million annually.

Given that income in the country is untaxed, it means the Egyptian will earn a weekly wage of £1.25million.

It is understood that Salah has been told he can earn more than Cristiano Ronaldo in the country, when bonuses and sponsorships are included.

According to The Independent, Liverpool are not ready to sell Salah, but it remains to be seen if the player push for the move.

Salah scored 19 goals and had 12 assists last season. He has already scored once this term, while also laying on an assist, in two games.
