Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, has redeemed his N75, 000,000 pledge to the victims of June’s gunmen attack on St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo.

Tinubu had announced the donation in Owo during his visit to commiserate with the people of the town.

He donated N50 million to victims of the attack and N25 million to the Catholic Diocese of Ondo.

However, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu confirmed on Tuesday that the money has been paid in full.

Akeredolu spoke in his office on Tuesday while receiving the Ondo State House of Assembly Service Commission led by its chairman and former deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Dare Emiola.

He appreciated the APC Presidential Candidate for redeeming his pledge.

He also appreciated the security agents for apprehending the perpetrators, expressing confidence that justice will be served at the end of the day.
