President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has felicitated renowned legal luminary and All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart, Babatunde Kwame Ogala, SAN, on his 65th birthday, describing him as a patriotic Nigerian whose life and career exemplify professionalism, integrity, loyalty, and selfless service.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised Ogala’s immense contributions to Nigeria’s democratic development and the growth of the APC.
The President highlighted Ogala’s distinguished service as the APC’s former Head of Legal, Vice Chairman of the Legal Directorate of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, and Coordinator of the party’s legal team from the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal through to the Supreme Court.
According to the President, Ogala’s exceptional legal expertise, strategic guidance, and steadfast commitment to justice played a pivotal role in reinforcing the legal foundation of the APC’s victorious 2023 presidential campaign while safeguarding the integrity of Nigeria’s democratic process.
President Tinubu noted that the Senior Advocate of Nigeria’s outstanding achievements at the Bar and within the APC continue to inspire a new generation of lawyers and political leaders.
The President also commended Ogala for his exemplary leadership as Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Lagos State University (LASU), where he has championed academic excellence, sound governance, and institutional development.
Congratulating the celebrant on the milestone, President Tinubu prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, and good health.
“As you mark this significant milestone, I pray that Almighty God will increase your wisdom and grant you more years in good health in your commitment to the ideals of justice and good governance,” the President said.
