The Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary of Lagos Education District IV, Mr Olusegun Osinaike warmly received in his Office a Team from the Multilingual International Resource Center (Ministry of Education) and Representative of the French Embassy, Mrs Laurann Clemiron.
The visit was geared towards the promotion of teaching and learning of French Studies in Lagos State Secondary Schools with emphasis on training French Language Teachers who in turn will teach the Students.
Incentives for the training includes free Books for the Students, training of French Language Teachers and issuance of International Certificates to the trainees.
The TGPS was so excited to receive the representatives especially Mrs Clemiron.He further thanked her for coming to impart knowledge to Students and Teachers alike.
Mr Osinaike also thanked the French Government for such a laudable initiative and assured that our Teachers and Students will leverage on this and use it diligently.This will in turn have multiplier effect on others.
Mr Osinaike pledged his unwavering and maximum support in all facets of the Programme
