Tayo Ayinde assures NIPR of LASG collaboration on T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda

The Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Tayo Ayinde has assured members of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Lagos State Chapter, of the present administration’s commitment to collaborate with the body in propagating the T.H.E.M.E.S. Agenda of this Government.

Ayinde gave the assurance during a courtesy visit to his office by members of the Lagos State Chapter of the Institute, led by its Chairman, Mr. Olusegun Mcmedal.

According to him, the State Government will sustain the partnership with the Institute with a view to ensuring that the set objectives of the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration outlined in the T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda are achieved, promising that the government will continue to provide the necessary support to the organisation.

In his remarks, the Chairman, NIPR, Lagos State Chapter, Mr. Olusegun Mcmedal commended the State Government for providing good governance and implementing various programmes and policies for the development of the State.

He appreciated the State Government for appointing some members of the Institute into key offices and sponsoring the induction of Public Affairs Officers in the State Public Service as members of the body in order to enhance their skills for improved productivity.

Dignitaries present at the ceremony included the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mr. Olusina Thorpe; the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Gboyega Akosile and other members of the Institute at both the State and National levels.
