The Lagos East Senator-Elect, Mr. Tokunbo Abiru and Lagos State House of Assembly member-elect, Mr. Saheed Femi today paid a thank you visit to National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Abiru and Femi winners of Saturday’s bye-elections in the state.

The duo were led to Tinubu by Lagos State APC Chairman, Hon Tunde Balogun and other chieftains of the party.

The Independent National Electoral Commission announced that Abiru obtained a total of 89,204 votes to defeat his closest opponent, Babatunde Gbadamosi of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Gbadamosi secured a total of 11,257 votes to emerge second.

Abiru won in all the five local government areas in the senatorial district.
