Sierra Leone in an historical comeback from 4-0 down to draw Nigeria

Sierra Leone recorded one of the great comebacks in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers today against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Sierra Leone’s Leone Stars rallied from four goals down to draw 4-4 with the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City in a 2021 AFCON Qualifier.

Alex Iwobi scored opener in 4 minutes’ to give Nigeria a 1-0 lead over Sierra Leone in AFCON qualification. Victor Osimhen scored to give Nigeria a 2-0 lead over Sierra Leone in the AFCON qualification.

Alex Iwobi scored his second goal of the first half to give Nigeria a 3-0 lead over Sierra Leone.

Samuel Chukwueze also find back of the net to give Nigeria a 4-0 lead over Sierra Leone .

Kwame Quee scored to cut Nigeria’s lead over Sierra Leone to 4-1. Alhaji Kamara also pulled one back to cuts Nigeria’s lead over Sierra Leone to 4-2.

Mustapha Bundu netted the third to cut Nigeria’s lead over Sierra Leone to 4-3.

Alhaji Kamara scored his second goal to bring Sierra Leone level with Nigeria at 4-4 in the AFCON qualification
