Senator Tokunbo Abiru congratulates Legislative Aide, Hamzat Jimoh on his call to Bar

The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA has congratulated his Legislative Aide, Hamzat Jimoh on his successful completion of legal studies and call to Nigerian Bar.

The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA has congratulated his Legislative Aide, Hamzat Jimoh on his successful completion of legal studies and call to Nigerian Bar.

In a statement issued on Wednesday in Lagos by the Senator’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Enitan Olukotun, quoted the Senator saying the feat was highly commendable.

Senator Abiru described Jimoh as a dedicated, smart aide who is a strong asset to the constituency team. He urged the new lawyer not to rest on his oars but constantly seeks knowledge that will exceptionally distinguish him.

“Hamzat, this latest scholarly laurel underscores the need to constantly sharpen your mind through books to maintain relevance in a highly competitive legal field. The truth is this: your investment in knowledge is what will stand you out of the pack in years to come”, Abiru admonished Jimoh.

The Senator urged other young folks in the Lagos East Senatorial District to double up in their academic pursuits and strive for excellence. Abiru assured that education being a major plank in his constituency services, he will always lend support as exemplified by his planned bursary scheme for about 500 students in higher institutions, next academic session.
