Sanwo-Olu’s Wife hosts Ramadan tafsir, Lailatul Qadri

The First Lady of Lagos State and wife of Mr Governor, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu on Sunday evening hosted a Special Tafsir and Lailatul-Qadri in commemoration of the ongoing Ramadan.

In a post on her verified social media handles, the First Lady said, “In commemoration of ongoing 2021 Ramadan, we hosted a special prayer session at Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja to mark Lailatul-Qadri, the Night of Majesty renowned in Islam as the night that Almighty Allah (SWT) revealed the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad.

“Being a special night through which Angels will be descending to the earth to bless the world, we pray that Almighty Allah will answer our prayers and bless Lagos State in particular and Nigeria in general with peace, growth and development.”

The First Lady also thanked God for the opportunity to organize the special Ramadan Tafsir and learn about the lessons of the season, just as she prayed Almighty Allah to answer the prayers of the Muslim Ummah and the people generally in this holy month and beyond.
