Sanwo-Olu Hails Nigeria–UAE Economic Agreement at Abu Dhabi Summit

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commended the signing of a comprehensive economic agreement between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates, describing it as a significant milestone in strengthening international partnerships and driving sustainable development.

Governor Sanwo-Olu disclosed via his official social media platforms that he joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to witness the signing ceremony at the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit.

According to the governor, the landmark agreement is expected to deepen trade relations between both countries, attract real investments, and foster stronger economic cooperation that will directly benefit Nigerians.

He noted that for Lagos State, such international partnerships are critical, as they open new opportunities for investment and enhance access to global markets, particularly in key sectors that power the state’s economy.

Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed profound appreciation to President Tinubu for his visionary leadership, stating that the agreement reflects the administration’s commitment to sustainable development and long-term prosperity for Nigeria and future generations.
