The Executive Chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, Hon. Samson Folorunso Olatunde popularly known as SAMOLA has urged the newly elected political appointees of Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA) to be dedicated and diligent in the course of discharging duties in their new offices.
Hon. Olatunde made this known at the swearing in and inauguration ceremony of the newly constituted Executive arm of the LCDA today at the Council Secretariat premises, Iworo.
The Chairman, while delivering his welcome speech, affirmed that the appointees were chosen after careful screening exercise which prioritised experience and suitability.
“Every important factor was put into consideration with experience and ability to perform as part of the yardsticks for selection.
“Therefore I expect that those that have been selected to serve will give their best to the people of Olorunda LCDA”, He said.
Thereafter, the oath of office was sworn by the appointees.
The newly inaugurated Secretary to the Local Government, Mr. Odu Joseph, in his acceptance speech appreciated the number one citizen of the LCDA and attendees for trusting in their ability to serve.
“We thank everyone of you for this great opportunity and we promise that we will not dissapoint you, we will work hand in hand to take Olorunda LCDA to a greater level,” he added.
The newly inagurated appointees are:
-Mr. Odu Joseph- Secretary to the Local Government.
-Mr. Dauda Aina- Chief of Staff.
-Mr. Ajose Olusesan- Supervisor for Works and Housing.
-Mr. Talabi Ajose- Supervisor for Revenue and Market.
-Mr. Alagbe Tosin – Supervisor for Health.
-Mrs. Tayibat Abisoye- Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
-Mr. Odu Abraham- Supervisor for Agric, Youth and Social Development.
-Mr. Kareem Lukmon- Supervisor for Chieftancy and Civic Engagement.
-Mr. Okunade Isiaka- Special Adviser on Environment, Health and Sanitation Services.
-Mr. Olatunji Ogabi – Special Adviser on Budget, Planning and Statistics.
-Mr. Abdulwahab Adeosun- Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman on Information and Media.
