Appeals for caution from motorists and commercial motorcyclists
Palliative works commenced on bad portions of Palace road, Ilogbo-eremi, Olorunda LCDA, today 2nd of September, 2022.
In an engagement with his media team, the Council Chairman, Hon. Samson Folorunso Olatunde (SAMOLA) noted that repair on the road is intended to ameliorate the sufferings of motorists, commercial motorcyclists (okada) and other road users.
He also noted that this palliative work is borne out of his administration’s insatiable urge and desire to ensure that roads in the LCDA are motorable and pliable for commuters.
He pointed out that palliative works have been scheduled to touch all the wards in the LCDA and that the ongoing one will cover the stretch of Palace road so as to link neighbouring communities.
Advising residents in the area, the Council Mayor emphasised the need for patience and understanding from motorists, urging them to drive with caution along the route during the period of repairs.
