Prince Taofik Ayinla Olorunfunmi took oath of office as Vice Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA on Wednesday, during an inauguration event conducted by the Legal Officer at the Council’s Secretariat.
Subsequent to the passing of the former Council Chairman Hon. Oladotun Olakanle on Saturday, 2nd November 2024, the former Deputy Leader of Onigbongbo Legislative Council, son of the late Royal Highness Oloregun of Oregun, was sworn in to fill the vacancy created by the present Chairman’s relinquishment of the position.
Hon Olorunfunmi expressed deep gratitude to God Almighty for the opportunity to serve and thanked the Apex Leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of Onigbongbo LCDA for their trust, committing to serve with unrelenting diligence, fairness, and collaboration with the Chairman to ensure the delivery of democratic dividends to Onigbongbo LCDA’s residents.
The former grassroots legislator, also esteemed as the Bashorun of Ojota, before his inauguration serves as CEO and Managing Director of Hearthrow Motel Limited. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Lagos and a Master’s in Public Administration from the same institution.
The swearing-in ceremony was graced by Executive and Management staff, headed by Olufunke Rakiya Hassan, Executive Chairman, and Mr. Koye, Council Manager.
