“This event goes beyond banking—it’s about partnership and shared success. Every interaction with Polaris Bank should reflect our core values of excellence, empathy, and innovation,” Ofikulu added.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Bukola Oluyadi, Group Head, Customer Experience and Value Management, reaffirmed the Bank’s vision to be the preferred financial partner for businesses across Nigeria.

“Our mission is to empower enterprises and enable growth. This forum is a platform to listen, learn, and explore how we can continue to meet your evolving needs,” Oluyadi stated.

Mr. Ayo Adesanya, Acting Divisional Head, Operations, highlighted Polaris Bank’s role in facilitating trade and simplifying cross-border transactions.

“Exports are vital to diversifying our economy. Polaris Bank provides tailored financial solutions that help businesses navigate global markets and thrive,” he said.

Also addressing participants, Mrs. Olayemi Agbe-Davies, Head of Treasury, gave an overview of Nigeria’s economic outlook, citing improvements in oil production, gradual inflation slowdown, and growing foreign reserves as indicators of recovery.“

The outlook is promising, and Polaris Bank remains positioned to support your business through trade finance, treasury solutions, and currency management,” she added.

Rounding off the session, Mrs. Olaleye Arinola, Trade Services Officer, spoke on the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS), a revolutionary platform that simplifies cross-border transactions within Africa.“

The Global Trade Forum provided an engaging platform for dialogue between Polaris Bank executives and customers, reinforcing the Bank’s dedication to customer-centric innovation and sustainable partnerships.
