Plan your movement: Lagos shuts popular road in Ikoyi for asphalt laying

The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversion from Osborne/ Dolphin Estate to Sura en route Adeniji Adele Link Bridge.

The Lagos government said the road will be shut from 12.00am tonight, Saturday 27th July to 5.00am on Monday, 29th July, 2024 for asphalt pavement of the road, Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi said in a statement.

He said consequently, motorists from Osborne/Dolphin Estate were advised to connect Sura Link Bridge to Adeniji Adele to access the 3rd Mainland Bridge to continue with their journeys

Osiyemi said motorists from the State House at Marina were to connect Obalende to link Simpson Bridge inward Sura to access Adeniji Adele to link the 3rd Mainland Bridge for their desired destinations.

The Lagos Commissioner assured that the State Traffic Management personnel would be on ground to manage vehicular movement and reduce inconveniences.

“Motorists are implored to be patient and adhere to the direction of movements by the Traffic Management Personnel,” Osiyemi stated.

Please note that cadets upon admission into the NDA are not employees in training. They shall not claim any form of right or engagement whatsoever as an employee of the Institution or Federal Government of Nigeria upon dismissal or withdrawal from the Academy before commissioning. Any candidate who fails to report by 1800 Hrs (6:00pm) Monday 7 March 2022 will forfeit the training slot.
