LAGOS, NIGERIA – The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Independent Campaign Group (PBAT-KOH ICG) has announced the appointment of a new crop of directorate leaders to spearhead its mobilisation and campaign activities across Lagos State ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The appointments, which take immediate effect, were announced in an official statement signed by the Director General of the PBAT-KOH ICG, Hon. Fatai Adekunle Ayoola.
According to the Director General, the appointments reflect the confidence reposed in the appointees’ competence, leadership capacity, grassroots influence, and unwavering commitment to advancing the objectives of the PBAT-KOH ICG.
The newly constituted leadership team comprises:
Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu “Dullar”, Immediate Past Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government – Principal Coordinator and Deputy Director General.
Hon. Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka “Zulu”, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development – Director, Team Lagos.
Hon. Olalekan Olu Akindipe, Executive Chairman of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government – Lagos West Senatorial District Coordinator.
Hon. Adeniyi Saliu, Executive Director, Lagride Nigeria Limited – Director, Corporate Affairs and Sectoral Engagement.
Otunba Adebayo Olasoju, Executive Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area – Director, New Media and Strategic Communications.
Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle “Sego”, Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos State Chapter – Director of Labour Unions.
Hon. Ayoola disclosed that the newly appointed directorate heads have been mandated to immediately take charge of all scheduled activities of the PBAT-KOH ICG across Lagos State.
He added that their core responsibility is to strengthen and expand the group’s grassroots structures, coordinate strategic stakeholder engagement, and galvanise widespread support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, with the ultimate goal of securing a resounding victory at the polls.
