Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday urged State governments to turn in the reports on the judicial panels set up to investigate police brutality across the country, noting that the panels of inquiries are still sitting in some States on EndSARS protests.

Osinbajo disclosed this while speaking at National Economic Council (NEC) 118th meeting, which was held virtually and was presided by him, with State governors, federal ministers, the Central Bank Governor, and other senior government officials in attendance.

According to Osinbajo, the Council will have a full consideration on the reports from the States, make a compilation of the reports and review the implementation options.

However, reports have been received from Ekiti, Enugu, and Nasarawa while more reports are being awaited.

The VP further encouraged the States that haven’t completed the panel’s work to send in interim reports.
