Galatasaray have issued an encouraging update on striker Victor Osimhen, who is recovering from an arm injury the Nigeria international had initially been ruled out for up to six weeks, but he has made faster-than-expected progress.

According to the club’s official website, the 27-year-old has now resumed training with the team while continuing a specialised recovery programme designed by physiotherapists.

Osimhen is expected to be fit in time for the Yellow and Reds’ league clash against Gençlerbirliği next weekend.
