The International Federation for History and Statistics (IFFHS) has named Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala as the female best player in Africa in the last decade.

The four-time African Footballer of the Year scooped the crown ahead of Cameroon’s Gabrielle Leonie Ngaska and fellow compatriot Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene.

The award was given to the most outstanding women’s player between 2011 to 2020 and the Barcelona forward has proven to be the best in the last ten years.
