In one of the coordinated offensives, troops of the 8 Division Garrison Strike Force, supported by Department of State Services (DSS) assets, engaged terrorists during a fighting patrol at Gundumi Village in Isa Local Government Area. One terrorist was neutralised during the encounter, while others escaped into the forest with gunshot wounds. The troops recovered six AK-47 rifles and three motorcycles from the scene.No photo description available.

In a related operation, troops of 1 Brigade, in collaboration with the Headquarters JTF OPFY Mobile Strike Team, acted on credible intelligence indicating that injured terrorists were receiving treatment in Bingi Forest.
