Onigbongbo LCDA Chairman Present Year 2022 Fiscal budget to legislative arm of the Council

In line with fulfilling the impacts of grassroots governance to the people of Onigbongbo LCDA, the Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. Oladotun Olakanle, FPA, presents 2022 appropriation bill to Leader of the House, Hon. Kayode Opayemi. This will allow the legislative arm to perform their oversight functions, carry cross examination of the budget, and ensure timely approval of the budget.

In line with fulfilling the impacts of grassroots governance to the people of Onigbongbo LCDA, the Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. Oladotun Olakanle, FPA, presents 2022 appropriation bill to Leader of the House, Hon. Kayode Opayemi. This will allow the legislative arm to perform their oversight functions, carry cross examination of the budget, and ensure timely approval of the budget.

Speaking to stakeholders present at the event, Tantolorun assured indigenes and residents of Onigbongbo LCDA of continuous sustainable development across communities. “We will ensure our electorates who have bestowed confidence and trust in us for governance continue to enjoy dividends of democracy” – the council chairman said.

This year’s budget is focused on improving our existing efforts in areas such as; infrastructure, basic education, health and environment, road rehabilitation and reconstruction and other core areas of grassroot governance.

Addressing everyone present at the event, the Leader of House, Hon. Kayode Opayemi appreciates party leaders and stakeholders present. “Today, we congratulate our Executive Chairman, Hon. Oladotun Olakanle on this major milestone and achievement. I want to assure the Executive and management team of the Council that we will do what is needful of us as legislative team of the council, and ensure we assess the budget for needed approval” – the Leader of the house said.

The event was duly attended by our party Apex leader Alhaja Iyabode Akerele, members of the management team, past house leaders, traditional rulers, religious leaders, party stakeholders, as well as loyalists, members and supporters of Onigbongbo LCDA APC.
