The media aide to the Executive Chairman Ojodu LCDA, Odomode Ayodeji has responded to the social media report of impeachment notice by councillors of the Council to the Chairman.
Ayodeji in the press release said “It is no longer news the falsehood peddled across social media on the acclaimed impeachment notice served on the council mayor of Ojodu LCDA – Hon. Julius Olumuyiwa Oloro – for allegedly diverting public funds among other allegations of corrupt practices levied against his person, as made viral on a controversial online media platform known as “gazelle news” and on Facebook among others”.
“This obviously has in the last few hours raised unnecessary public reactions, biased utterances and unfair arguments on the mannerism at which public funds have being disbursed within the council, hence this publication”.

“The so called online channel used to share the misleading news was traced to have being known to solely assasinate the character of the person of the council boss since the year 2014; it is also the major online news media used whenever an ill conceived matters of impeachment and mischief is to be pushed to public domain by their pay masters all to distort the profound public opinion and disrupt the goodwill of the good people of Ojodu LCDA, leaders of our party in Lagos and Nigeria in entirety about the characteristics of the unique, hardworking, prudent and loyal Chief Executive Officer of Ojodu LCDA – Hon. Oloro” Ayodeji averred.
“With regards to the earlier mentioned, we wish to let the unsuspecting public be in the know of the truth that this unscrupulous elememts had publicized the purely politically motivated propaganda which is intended majorly to score cheap political grades in favour of those bankrolling the operationally epileptic news channel known majorly for mischievous news peddling and rumour mongering. It should be clearly noted that NONE of the said properties attached as annexure to the acclaimed letter of impeachment by the council legislators belongs to the Council Mayor, neither does he have any connections with the owners.
Also, it must be categorically stated that there is no iota of truth in their biased claims and poor reportage and at the time of writing this report, the chairman had sworn to an affidavit dissociating himself from ownership of the said properties.
To further verify our claims, our investigation team tried to locate one of the said properties to identify the original owner. This necessitated an on the spot visit to the nearest property said to be built inside Omole Estate Phase 1. Because we believe everyone who cares may do same, the concerned mansion in question under annexure 1a and 1b which originally belongs to one Alhaji Uthman Gazzar is located on Omotunde Akinsola Street at the rear end of Adedoyin Street beside Omole Grammar School (Foursquare District Headquaters). When we arrived at the venue of the luxurious property, witnesses who claim to know the landlord connected the about 25 years built structure to an hardworking magnate who at the time of the visit had travelled out of Lagos State on a business trip; thus, an attempt to interview him in person proved abortive as we hope to reschedule a meeting with him to further help clarify the matter.
We hereby debunk the claims of the politically orchestrated viral news on social media and therefore implore us all to be more sensitive in reacting to fake news and mischief on social media during this period. We beseech the general public to be weary of the machinations of rumour mongers, bootlickers and mischievous elements in the nigerian media profession who’s poor and money bag kind of journalism has made them loose professional touch but has chosen to only make little penny out of destroying the character of our esteemed boss. Hon. Olumuyiwa Oloro who due to his landslide achievements so far in Ojodu LCDA – between 2017 to date – has enjoyed immense support by consituents for his incomparable accomplishments ever witnessed since inception of the local council about 17 years ago.
It is important to also state that our boss has only done MORE during his second tenure in office to date than even his first term. Some of the proof of his excellent performance includes the construction, completion and commissioning of a magnificent modern market (Abibatu Magaji Ultramodern Shopping Complex) built – through his Public-Private Partnership Agenda – and commissioned during his 3rd year anniversary in office this year.
More so, the soon to be commissioned Ojodu Council Secretariat is an edifice to behold and an Ultramodern Office complex currently in the final phase. All these proved beyond doubts that our esteemed Council boss is prudent and a politician of repute who’s engineering background aided his successful activities towards uplifting the state of the communities within the council and facelifting the outlook of the council by turning the council secretariat into a construction site with daily workshifts for over 30 months.
To confirm our claims, you may wish to visit the council secretariat to experience the aura and ambience of the already functional secretariat facility which is undergoing serious construction work. Thankfully, the chairman also initiated the rehabilitation of the Legislative Chamber within the council among other infracrures meant to make the secretariat building better convenient and serene for workers, executives, legislators and visiting constituents.
Find attached a compendium on the accomplishments of Hon. Engr. Julius Olumuyiwa Oloro who have performed remarkably before citizens, leaders and constituents who knows the value of money and will not succumb to cheap blackmail without verification.
