Members of staff of Ojo Local Government have been advised to always put God first in their dealings and be diligent and committed to duties for the progress and development of the Council in the new year.
This was revealed by the Executive Chairman, Ojo Local Government, Hon.Rasulu Olusola Idowu(Mr. Project) during that first work day prayer session at the Local Government Secretariat.
The LG Boss was full of gratitudes and praises to God, who has spared the lives of management and members of staff to witness the new year, adding that the year promises to be a better one for mutual relationship.
In her own remark, the Council Manager, Mrs.Esther Ajose expressed deep appreciation to the members of staff for their cooperation and then urged them to put in their best in the new year for optimal performance.
The Head Admin.and Human Resource Department, Mr. Adedokun Oyinlola charged the members of staff to be obedient, punctual and hardworking and above all, do the needful about their career progression.
The Nigeria Union of local Government Employees, Branch Chairman, Comrade kayode Yusuf commended and appreciated the Executive Chairman and the Management for the uncommon staff welfare packages, noting that this would increase the staff performance on Internally Revenue Generation and other sectors.
Highlights of the event were praise worship and prayers by Muslims and Christians for the peace and progress of the Council.
The prayer session was attended by the Management, Nulge Exco members and entire members of staff.
