The Ojo Local Government Legislative Council, led by Hon. Wusu Solomon Adefemi has passed the Year 2021 proposed budget into law and consequently assented by the council Chairman, Hon. Rasulu Olusola Idowu, for immediate action.

This was contained in a press release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman Ojo Local Government, DARAMOLA Idowu Moruff, who stated that the local government’s legislatures approved the sum of N2,571,598.096.00 for the 2021 budget of Integrated Development.

It’s noteworthy that after the presentation of the Year 2021 proposed appropriation bill themed: with comprehensive details, fortnight ago, the councilors embarked on assiduous work on the statutorily charged by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Rasulu Olusola Idowu and they came out from a sitting today with joint approval of the budget as proposed.

The leader of the legislative arm, Hon. Wusu Adefemi Solomon, in his esteemed remark, said the ‘Year 2021 Appropriation Bill’s’ approval has become necessary, hence, it is an affirmation of the legislative arm dedication to the cordial relationship with the executive arm and their unprecedented desire to promote/uphold the good vision of the ingenious administration, led by Hon. Rasulu Olusola Idowu.

Speaking further, he said the legislative arm will continue to look forward to better service delivery base on the previous pace of the administration, with the current Budget approval and sincerely appreciate the people of the caring council for their trust and support to the administration.

“Thank you all for staying with us, all along; we will continue to work hard in the best interest of the people and environment in Ojo Local Council” Hon. Wusu Adefemi affirmed.

The Council Chairman in his address described the legislatures as dutiful and extols their dedication to people’s socio-economic development as huge. And pledged to exploit the opportunity leverage on the consistent projects agenda of the administration with promises to facilitates speedy developmental programme in the new appropriation year and to the best interest of all and sundry.

“It’s a pointer to better days begining around the caring council area.” Said Alhaji Rasulu

the Deputy leader, Hon. Adesoji Kayode, the majority leader, Hon. Teslim Muhammed, the Chief whip, Hon. Mutahiru Olaitan Ganiu, the deputy chief whip, Hon. Ojelabi Tajudeen and the clerk of the House, Mr Aina Idowu.

The new Council Manager, Mrs Ajose Esther, the new council treasurer, Alhaja Saula F. G., Hod Budget, Mr ominu Olusegun among others.
