Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA Mourns the Passing of Prince Bayo Osiyemi

The Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has expressed profound condolences to the family and friends of the late Prince Bayo Osiyemi, who passed away in the early hours of November 24.

The Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has expressed profound condolences to the family and friends of the late Prince Bayo Osiyemi, who passed away in the early hours of November 24.

Prince Osiyemi was a distinguished journalist and community leader whose life was marked by dedicated public service. He served Lagos State in numerous capacities, including as Chief Press Secretary to the first civilian Governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, and Chairman of Mushin Local Government. More recently, he was a Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Matters to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

His commitment to the development of Lagos and his impactful contributions to the community have left an enduring legacy. The Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA joins the entire state in mourning his loss and stands firmly with his family during this period of grief.

The council encourages residents to honor Prince Osiyemi’s memory through acts of service, compassion, and goodwill, reflecting the values he championed throughout his life.
