Annually, a NULGE WEEK is being organized in the 20 LGAs and 37LCDAs across Lagos State. Ikoyi-Obalende Local Council Development Area has commenced this year’s NULGE Week on Monday 26th September 2022 with walk for fitness.

The Walk for Fitness programme was declared open by the Council Manager of the LCDA, QS Thompson Olanrewaju and also in attendance is the Council Treasurer, Mrs Omolara Paramole Oshikoya representing the management staff of the local council while majority of the entire workforce are also in attendance.

The Branch Chairman of Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA NULGE, Comrade Grace Aina-Richard while commending all members of staff for their unflinching believe in the branch exco appreciated the management for being up and doing anytime the union comes to them for assistance.

She further informed about many health benefits of this walk for fitness exercise and encouraged members of staff to occasionally practice this habit even at home to promote good health.
