The Board Secretary (LSCPWB), Mrs. Florence Yetunde Gbafe, made the request during a courtesy visit to the newly elected CAN Chairman, Lagos State Chapter, Bishop Stephen Adegbite at his Ogba Office.

Acknowledging the important role played by CAN in terms of patronage and team spirit towards ensuring a successful pilgrimage in the past, the Gbafe solicited for more opportunity to showcase and promote the Board’s activities and programmes during major CAN organised events.

She said, “In the past, the Board had such privileges and I would like it to continue because it gives us the opportunity to showcase our plans and packages for the Holy Pilgrimage to Jerusalem, Greece and Rome to interested Christians”.

Gbafe further stated that the Board looks forward to having a more robust working relationship with CAN under the new Chairman, Bishop Stephen Adegbite.

The Board’s Director of Accounts, Dr. Olayinka Kilanko, who led the prayers for a peaceful and successful tenure for the new Chairman testified to his humility and gentle nature.

He said, “We were together during one holy Pilgrimage and l was surprised at the level of humility displayed by the Bishop. He was unassuming and willing to work with me and all others with sincerity and meekness”.
