LG Service Commission team pays condolence visit to Oba Oniru

A delegation of the Local Government Service Commission, led by its Chairman, Mr. Kamal Ayinde Bayewu, has paid a condolence visit to the Oniru of Iru, Oba Omogbolahan Lawal (Abisogun II) over the transition of his mother, Mrs. Muinat Lawal-Akapo.

A delegation of the Local Government Service Commission, led by its Chairman, Mr. Kamal Ayinde Bayewu, has paid a condolence visit to the Oniru of Iru, Oba Omogbolahan Lawal (Abisogun II) over the transition of his mother, Mrs. Muinat Lawal-Akapo.


The team comprised the entire Commission Members and the Management Team of both the Local Government Service Commission and the Local Government Establishment, Training and Pensions Office.


Speaking during the condolence visit, the Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Mr. Kamal Ayinde Bayewu, and the Permanent Secretary, Local Government Service Commission, Mr. Abiodun Bamgboye, prayed for the repose of the departed soul.


Other members of the delegation include the Commission members: Engr. Biodun Orekoya, Commissioner (Ikorodu Division); Mr. Akeem Bamgbola, Commissioner (Lagos Division); Mr. Ahmed Seriki, Commissioner (Epe Division); Mr. Taofeek Adaranijo, Commissioner (Ikeja Division); the Permanent Secretary, Local Government Establishments, Training and Pensions, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa as well as the management teams of both Government Agencies.


Recall that Oba Oniru lost his mother Mrs. Muinat Lawal-Akapo at the ripe age of 85 on Wednesday, 30th March, 2022 after a brief illness. The Fidau prayer was held on Wednesday, 6th April, 2022, while the final burial will be held after Ramadan.
